Ages 11-15 This workshop is ideal for high school or college students wanting to develop or strengthen their figure drawing and painting skills and fine/commercial art-based portfolio. You are introduced to life drawing and painting through an investigation of foundation/skill building principles, form construction and anatomy. The objective is to capture an accurate, 3-dimensional representation of the human form through observation. Daily lectures and demonstrations will introduce concepts and subject matter. An official SUNY Ulster sketchbook will be provided to you. Educational Leader: Christopher Seubert is a SUNY Ulster Instructor and local artist. He will be assisted by SUNY Ulster Fine Art students.
