The learner develops and evaluates patient centered holistic approach to nursing care utilizing previous theory and knowledge with emphasis on quality outcomes and seamless transitions of care. The plan of care is operationalized focusing on analysis, evaluation, and modification of individual needs involving families and communities. Concepts of leadership and development are explored using an interdisciplinary approach. Lecture: 6 hours Lab/clinical: 12 hours This course is offered only in the spring. Pre & Co requisites: NUR 252, MAT 105 or higher.
