In this workshop, students develop expository writing skills needed for advanced college study. Emphasis is on the long nonresearch paper. Students write informative, persuasive, and reflective essays as well as others of their own choosing. All papers are reviewed by other students in a workshop setting. It is recommended that students have a grade of B- or better in at least one of the following courses: ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 171, or ENG 172. Prerequisites: ENG 102 with a grade of C or better and LIB 111 or by permission of instructor.
