This hands-on course presents a thorough introduction to the in-demand field of bartending. At the completion of the course, you will be familiar with: • Industry standards & acceptable service • Common terminology & equipment used • A variety of alcoholic beverages — beers, mixed drinks, wines and trending cocktails (how to prepare drinks from the exotic to popular standards) • Health & hygiene regulations/sanitation • Customer service & attitude • Selling techniques & showmanship • Menu development • Bar set-up & preparation You must be at least 18 years old to attend.
