If you are interested in fashion or plan to be a fashion designer then this is the camp for you! In this boot camp, you will spend half the day in the sewing lab, and the remaining half of the day in the drawing studio. In the sewing lab you will learn sewing and basic construction. The sewing lab comes complete with cutting tables, dress forms, sewing machines, sergers and industrial irons! Each camper will create an original project. In the drawing studio you will learn how to construct the fashion figure and how to draw and design skirts, blouses, dresses and pants to create a small apparel collection complete with mood board, fabrics and illustrated in color. If you know how to sew or draw, that is great! If not, we will teach you! The instructor-to-camper ratio is 1:4/5. Materials fee: $10, payable in camp.
