SUNY Ulster Hosts Adult Learner Expo for Prospective Students on June 26

The expo will provide information on financial aid, scholarships, and admissions, and professors will be on site to discuss program offerings.

SUNY Ulster Hosts Adult Learner Expo for Prospective Students on June 26

 

June 13, 2019 – Kingston, NY – SUNY Ulster will host an Adult Learner Expo for adults interested in going to college on Wednesday, June 26, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster, 94 Mary’s Ave. in Kingston. The expo will provide information on financial aid, scholarships, and admissions, and professors will be on site to discuss program offerings.

Adults interested in finishing their degree or starting a new career can learn more about their options at the Adult Learner Expo. Professors will be on site to talk about program offerings in Business, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Computer Science, Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, and more. Attendees can learn more about scholarships, financial aid, and the admissions process at SUNY Ulster. Tips for time and workload management will also be available. Matt Green, Interim Vice President of Enrollment and Success, will give a keynote speech, and a light dinner will be served to attendees.

The SUNY Ulster AdultEDge learning program serves the needs of regional residents looking to establish a new career path or gain a credential to validate years of on-the-job experience, whether as a first-time or returning student. AdultEDge programs include Business, Human Services, Computer Science, and more. SUNY Ulster also has a long tradition of being named a Top Military Friendly Institution and is approved under the Veteran’s Educational Assistance Act (GI Bill) and the Dependent’s Act.
