Visit with a variety of local organizations seeking workers
SUNY Ulster Hosts Career Fair for Alumni and Students on April 10
March 28, 2019 – Stone Ridge, NY – SUNY Ulster will host its second annual Career Fair on Wednesday, April 10, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Student Life Dining Hall, Vanderlyn Hall. SUNY Ulster students and alumni are invited to visit with a variety of local organizations seeking full-time, part-time, and seasonal workers. Attendees can find open positions at the fair, as well as network with hiring managers to find out more about their organizations. Both those looking for a new position and those not yet actively looking are encouraged to attend.
Employers at the event include members of healthcare and human service organizations, manufacturing firms, government agencies, retail establishments, and many more. Several employers represented at the fair will include IBM, the U.S. Census Bureau, Ulster County SPCA, Rondout Valley Savings Bank, and the Anderson Center for Autism. Jobs available range from entry-level retail and service industry work to credentialed, career-oriented positions in nursing, human services, engineering, and more. These organizations are actively pursuing employees and are open to discussing their organizations, the type of employees they look for, and the type of work they do.
Attendees are asked to bring copies of their resume and dress in business casual attire.
