SUNY Ulster Hosts Business Program Open House for Adult Students
June 27, 2018 – Stone Ridge, NY – SUNY Ulster will host a special open house for AdultEDge Business Programs on Wednesday, July 18, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster. This open house will allow potential adult students to see programs and course options for a variety of subjects relevant to the business world, including Entrepreneurship, Accounting, and more.
Attendees have the opportunity to learn about AdultEDge programs in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accounting, which are designed to earn students an Associate degree and/or certificate. Attendees can learn about the micro-credential in Accounting Computer Skills offered at SUNY Ulster. Certifications in Leadership, Management, and Office Skills & Bookkeeping, which are coming soon to SUNY Ulster, will also be covered. There will be information provided on the job-related skills emphasized in AdultEDge programs. The Prior Learning Assessment opportunity for adult students, which offers a path to apply for college credit for on-the-job or community experience obtained outside the traditional classroom, will also be covered. Information on admissions, adult-friendly scheduling, and financial aid, including scholarship information, will also be available. Refreshments will be served.
