Schedule Announced for 2018 Own It! Entrepreneurial Women’s Conference

4th Annual Conference will be Held May 31st at SUNY Ulster

     

May 14, 2018 - Stone Ridge, NY – The schedule for SUNY Ulster’s 4th annual Own It! Entrepreneurial Women’s Conference has been announced. The one-day conference for female entrepreneurs and dream-to-be entrepreneurs will be held May 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.at the college’s Stone Ridge campus. The conference will consist of a keynote speaker, a series of workshops, networking, a continental breakfast, lunch, and gifts. This year’s conference theme is “Cutting Edge Strategies for Changing Times.” Online registration is currently open at www.sunyulster.edu/ownit.

The keynote speaker for the conference is Diana Lovett, Founder and CEO of Cissé Cocoa Company. Her presentation, entitled “The Cissé Story: Social Entrepreneurship & Chocolate!” will cover her own experiences as a social entrepreneur. She will tell the story of how she started her business, as well as how her business represents the wave of social entrepreneurship currently trending in the marketplace. Attendees will learn how Cissé Cocoa Company garnered national distribution while reinvesting in the communities where its ingredients were sourced.

  • Own It! will feature four separate breakout sessions, where attendees can choose from one of three workshops offered at each session to attend. Own It! workshops offered through the day will include:
