SUNY Ulster Offers CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Training
April 18, 2018 – Stone Ridge, NY – SUNY Ulster’s Office of Continuing and Professional Education will offer CNC Training beginning in May. Computer numerical control (CNC) is the automation of machine tools by means of computers executing pre-programmed sequences of machine control commands.
Hudson Valley area manufacturers are hiring, but often cannot find enough people with the right skills qualified for the jobs. To combat this skills-worker mismatch, SUNY Ulster is offering a CNC course designed to prepare workers for the advanced manufacturing workplace.
Intro to CNC Programming will begin on May 22 and runs until July 31 from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. All materials are included with the price of the class.
