Intro to Web Development Free Study Session

Offered Through SUNY Ulster’s Office of Continuing & Professional Education

For those interested in learning to code, SUNY Ulster is offering a Fast Track Web Dev introductory study session on Tuesday, September 19th at 6pm in the new Pfeiffer Technology and Innovation Center located in Hardenbergh Hall Room 203B on SUNY Ulster’s Stone Ridge campus.

This free Study Session is opening the door to the first Fast Track WebDev Bootcamp in Hudson Valley and an opportunity to meet our mentors and get familiar with Web Development. This session will introduce the main building blocks and principles of Web Development and will play with basic web page elements. The courses beginning in early October are equally beneficial for beginners as well as those with web dev experience who want to acquire real life skills or learn additional topics and best practices.

All instructors are local, experienced professionals in the field of website development and technology, and are passionately involved in growing the local tech community. The technology skills presented in these courses are current and relevant to today’s job market, and based on industry best practices.

The Web Development Mini Bootcamp is designed for Website Developers who want the power of hand-coding under their belt, want to increase the value they can provide in advising their clients on content development and website design to best accomplish business objectives or want to know the most important keys to leverage for search engine optimization of client websites.

They are also designed for the Entrepreneur who wants to understand how a website can leverage the Internet for optimal business strategy, wants to gain better familiarity with website development to save time and money with website professionals they hire, or wants to personally build a website for their own business endeavors.

In addition these classes are suited for anyone who wants to improve their employability by developing a universally-needed skill set, wants to begin a new career, or wants to empower themselves with the ability to build an effective website presence for any of their personal passions or business endeavors.
