SUNY Ulster Offers High School Equivalency Classes This Fall

Offered by Office of Continuing & Professional Education

SUNY Ulster will offer a course to help prepare students for the Test Assessing Secondary Competency (TASC) needed to earn the High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma this fall. Designed for students who did not graduate from high school but want a certificate equivalent to the traditional high school diploma, the program provides instruction in language arts, writing, reading, math, science, and social studies. The course also focuses on preparing students for college and assists those seeking enrollment in a SUNY Ulster degree or certificate program.

The class will meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from September 28 through October 26. The session runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and meets at the Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster, 94 Mary’s Avenue in Kingston. The course fee is $20. A second section will be offered on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5 – 8:30 p.m. and meets at the Stone Ridge Campus. The course fee is $20.
