Tuesday, March 28th at Onteora MS/HS Harry Simon Auditorium
The SUNY Ulster music department, in conjunction with the Onteora School District music department, presents the Ron Westervelt Memorial Scholarship Concert on Tuesday, March 28th at 7:00p.m. at Onteora Middle School/High School Harry Simon Auditorium. The suggested donation for this event is $10/family, $5 adult, and $3 students and seniors.

The concert will feature performances by the SUNY Ulster jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, and college chorus. The Onteora 5th and 6th grade jazz ensemble, concert band, middle school choir, and high school choirs will also present several selections alone along with collaborative performances with the SUNY Ulster groups.
All proceeds from the concert will go directly to the Ron Westervelt Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a student interested in a career in music, studying at SUNY Ulster.
The Music program at SUNY Ulster is designed to provide students with foundation courses in music theory, music history, and applied music that will prepare them for transfer to bachelor's degree programs for further study in music. The program is a core curriculum with a complementary selection of general education courses. The program is available for both part‐time and full‐time students.
